Walk Now for Autism Philadelphia 2008
Last year, Jim Gillespie and his son Brendan joined forces with over 10,000 walkers and
raised over $900,000. This year, the goal is 1 million!
The mile and a half walk will take participants through the Citizens Bank
ballpark concourse. Special education vendors (schools, camps,
organizations, therapists) will have tables with information throughout
the walk route. There will be face painters, Star Wars storm troopers,
moon bounces and music throughout the morning.
Everyone mark your calendars for September 20th and join Jim!

Friends and co-workers,
I am involved with Back on My Feet; a nonprofit organization that promotes the self-sufficiency of Philadelphia's homeless population by engaging them in running to build strength, confidence and self-esteem. The program is so much more than just running - it is a comprehensive program that offers connections to job training, educational scholarships and housing assistance. The benefits of Back on My Feet are earned through the currency of attitude, commitment, teamwork, respect, dedication and leadership. Back on My Feet has accomplished a great deal, and I encourage everyone to check out the website www.backonmyfeet.org.

Dear Colleagues,
This is the second year that my daughter, Laurelle, is taking a personal role in the fight against cancer by being part of the American Cancer Society Relay For Life. She is again volunteering as a team captain and is trying to raise $1000 for the fight against cancer, and needs your help.
It's amazing to think that more than one million people will be diagnosed with cancer this year. Somebody close to us may be one of them. That is why she is asking everyone she can to help sponsor her Relay For Life efforts and support the American Cancer Society and their important work. The Society works hard every day to prevent cancer and save lives through groundbreaking research, public education, and better laws that protect people from cancer. They also help people who are diagnosed with cancer in our own communities. The Society has already helped save millions of lives from cancer.
She hopes you can help her with a donation to this incredible cause before the Relay takes place May 9 at Strath Haven HS. Your support will help people in our community and around the world in the fight against this disease.
You can make a secure online contribution from her Personal Page by clicking on the link below.
To help even more she would also love for you to send this message to everyone you know, to help her team in this amazing cause.
Thank You!
Lorraine D. Holley, Esq.

On October 16, 2007, Ronalyn Sisson attended the Philadelphia Bar Association's Quarterly Meeting at the
invitation of Chancellor Jane Dalton. Jane awarded the Sandra Day O'Connor award at the event to Lynn Marks,
the Director of Pennsylvanians for Modern Courts. Ms. Sisson attended the VIP pre-luncheon reception.
The event was well-attended and keynote speaker, Ann Weaver Hart, President of Temple University,
emphasized not only the appropriateness of Ms. Marks' receiving the award, but the numerous contributions
Temple University and its lawyer alumni have made to the Mid-Atlantic region. Follow this link
